Who Are We?
The only way to get a feel for any church is to get
to know its people. ECBC is no exception. In many ways we are a very diverse congregation. We represent many
different ethnicities and nationalities; we live in many different towns around Chester County, from Malvern
to Honey Brook, West Chester to Spring City. We are all different ages, and we are richer for it; there are
gifts only youth can bring and gifts that only age can bring.
And we're proud of that diversity. But even more,
we are proud that in Christ we are more alike. We all have been touched by Jesus Christ and seek to
share His touch with others in Exton and around the world. We all are seeking to grow as disciples, and
seeking to grow as a family and a home for a hurting world.
Our Vision
Affirming God's call to be a serving, loving
community of ministry within and beyond our own congregation, we hereby state our intention to GROW as a
church:
- in the gifts of God's Spirit and in our maturity as people of faith;
- in the variety and flexibility of our worship and programs; and
- in our outreach to the Greater Exton area and beyond.
With these efforts and by God's grace, we will
strengthen and expand our Christian witness and grow in faithfulness to Jesus Christ.
Our Vision for Children's Ministry
The mission of the Exton Community Baptist Church
Children's Ministry is to help the children of our church and the Exton community experience God's love by
creating a safe and caring environment and giving them the Biblical and spiritual foundation to grow into
disciples of Jesus Christ.
