How Can We Help?
If you're interested in getting involved in any of
the areas listed below, please contact the church office at 610/363-7814.
Music
Believing that our earthly worship is a precursor
of heavenly worship which is to come, ECBC seeks to incorporate many different styles into
our worship. This is especially evident in the area of music.
Music Director Donna Dunn conducts the choir,
a group of around 15 that is strong beyond their numbers.
Also helping to lead the
congregation into worship are frequent contemporary songs, led by Donna, other musicians, or our
contemporary music group. Most services blend different styles of music from different periods in
the church's history.

through worship. This happens through ministries like greeters, lay readers and music teams.

Stewardship Teams
The Stewardship Team at ECBC cares for two main
areas: our church's prayer ministries and our ministry of financial giving. In each of these, we make an
offering to God, trusting that he will make much more of us than we could on our own.
Prayer Team:
focuses on educating about prayer and building a prayer ministry at ECBC
Financial Stewardship Team:
encourages us in the stewardship of our financial resources
Spiritual Gifts Team:
focuses on helping our congregation to acknowledge, appreciate and make good use of our spiritual gifts.

Equipping Teams
The Equipping Team at ECBC helps to equip the
church for service. This happens through Christian Education and the Lay Pastoring team, which helps to
care for the community.
Children's Ministry Team: a team caring for the kids of our church and community.
Lay Pastoring Team:
a group of folks who will gather for training and then providing pastoral care to those in crisis or bereavement. Members of the team will do some or all of the following, as they feel God has gifted them: letter-writing to absent members and new visitors, providing transportation for those who need it for errands and doctors' visits, and visitation of the sick.
Small Group Leaders:
Have an idea for a Sunday School class or small group focus you'd like to lead? Call the Pastor’s Study at 610 524-1475!

Community Teams
At ECBC, we take seriously the belief that whenever
two or more are gathered together, the Lord is there among us. As a church family, we genuinely enjoy one
another and enjoy being with one another. We provide several opportunities for Christian fellowship
throughout the year, such as:
- Summertime Cookouts: When school lets out, each Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. we gather for hot dogs, volleyball, and just hanging out.
- Small-group meals in homes and in restaurants
- Occasional retreats, game nights, concerts and more!
Other teams include:
Women's Project Group:
gathers for fellowship and to work on a specific mission project on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 12:30pm.
Women's Bible Study: meets at 11:00 second & fourth Thursday of the month
Hospitality Team:
provides food/hospitality for church events
Bridge of Hope:
mentoring and assisting women in homelessness
Food Bank:
The Local Food Bank, The Lord’s Pantry, is located in Downingtown where the church makes food and money donations thoughtout the month.

Facilities Teams
While we recognize that the church is the people, not the building, we also want to be good stewards of what God has given us.
Buildings Team:
takes care of the two main buildings on our site.
Grounds Team:
cares for the outside of our site, with people and church use groups adopting a portion to keep clean and looking good
